While the seminar is free, registration is required (on the right).
Demo and Hands on Experience for Architects/Engineers and GC/CM to gain an understanding of masonry assemblies while having the chance to work with BAC craftworkers.
• Understanding of a complete wall assembly from the foundation up to the stone cap at the top of a parapet wall, by training via a complete assembly mock-up with hand-outs
• Hands on training in a small group setting to build a block and brick assembly wall complete with all parts and pieces.
• Knowledge of masonry details in a project by both Instruction and by ability to ask questions to the Local BAC Trainer, Journeymen and Apprentices instructing actual hands on portion.
• Learn about the advantages of working with union craftworkers to ensure better quality in construction projects.

Tom has worked for three decades in the construction industry in project management, as well as field supervision.
He is a long-standing member of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 5 OH. Tom also managed his own mason contracting business, and later worked in the restoration sector of the masonry industry.
