Structural Fundamentals: Masonry Movement Joints - 1 LU/HSW

Wednesday, February 1, 2023 | 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time

Presented by: FORSE Consulting

Join us as we uncover movement characteristics of structural masonry wall systems. We’ll compare the differences between movement joints in architectural veneer and in structural reinforced masonry. Plus, we'll identify other strategies that mitigate wall cracks and other distresses. By the end of this session, you'll learn how to detail movement joints for accommodating and/or restricting the movement of masonry materials.
