SUSTAINABLE STRUCTURAL MASONRY STRATEGIES -1 LU/HSW

Wednesday, April 5, 2023 | 12- 1 p.m. Eastern Time

Join us and explore low carbon masonry solutions and projects that showcase sustainable practices. We'll discuss tips on how to design with masonry to address energy efficiency, carbon neutrality, resiliency strategies, and more. Discover adaptive reuse approaches to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings. See how efficiently designed masonry wall systems can lower a project's embodied carbon without having to jump through hoops.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore adaptive reuse as a sustainable way to repurpose our existing building stock.
  • Discover low carbon concrete masonry strategies using supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs).
  • Investigate how efficiently designed masonry wall systems can lower embodied carbon.
  • Get connected with resources to help you implement sustainable strategies on your projects.
