Program Descriptions

Masonry Aesthetics and Costs
Masonry systems offer a variety of aesthetic and cost solutions for building envelopes and interior walls. With proper information at the start of the design process, designers can choose from a wide range of masonry that can deliver unique envelope solutions and meet project budgets. This seminar seeks to share information on using masonry solutions in the most cost-effective way. A variety of masonry systems and strategies to address cost will be discussed

Hands-on: Bonds and Corbels
This hands on will offer guidelines and best practices on how to incorporate bonds and corbels into building designs.

Hands-on: CMU detailing for performance
This hands will offer performance benefits gained by using structural masonry to address movement and window/door openings in envelopes.
