Masonry has been a choice for foundation walls for many decades. Designing and constructing foundation walls with masonry effectively addresses both budget and schedule constraints for a wide variety of projects. Join us as we delve into the benefits of opting for CMU in foundation design. We’ll explore strategies to optimize the design, saving time, material, and cost.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify when it’s beneficial to use masonry foundation walls.
- Illustrate design parameters for foundation walls including strategies for masonry.
- Explore how cost-effective masonry foundations can be optimized for efficiency.
- Review masonry foundation wall details and best practices.
