Confidence Class

One positive aspect of a tight economy is increased demand for quality and value. Architects and engineers want to know that their designs are going to be built right, contractors want to keep their clients happy (and avoid callbacks), and workers want to be as employable as possible.

All three motives are behind the Flashing Training that IMI provides for BAC members and contractors. The 14-step format, which covers the fundamentals of waterproofing materials and applications, plus hands-on practice, proves that proper flashing is not as simple as it looks.

It’s certainly not something you just show up and do. Flashing inadequacies can cause big water-related problems, which is why IMI pays so much attention, from design details, to craftworker training.

And it’s why smart contractors are sending smart craftworkers to IMI.
